I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, “All in a day’s work.” At our Seattle video production and content creation company, that actually means something different on every video shoot. But recently, we tackled a day unlike any other with our client L2L.
The night before our one and only video shoot day with L2L, we flew from Seattle to Salt Lake City and then drove to our hotel in Provo. That’s where we woke up early the following day and started our grand adventure.
First, I want to provide some quick background on the project. L2L offers cloud-based lean manufacturing software. They promise full deployment into a manufacturing plant within five or six weeks. That’s an unbelievable timeframe to some potential clients so that’s where our video production company came in. Our goal was to conduct five interviews in different plants around Utah, gathering testimonials about successful deployments with L2L. And we needed to do that all in a single day.
Our first stop was the Young Living plant in Spanish Fork (9 miles from our hotel). The second location was the Purple manufacturing plant in Tooele (76 miles from Spanish Fork) where we conducted two interviews. Our third visit was Autoliv in Brigham City (about 90 miles from Tooele), and our final stop was JBT AeroTech in Ogden (25 miles from Brigham City). And then after all that, we headed back to the Salt Lake City airport (40 miles from Ogden) and flew home to Seattle that same night.
From start to finish — all in a single video shoot day — with some great coordination by L2L, we collected 5 interviews in 4 locations, spanning more than 240 miles throughout Utah. On top of that, we also caught a flight back home to Seattle. That gives a whole new meaning to the saying, “All in a day’s work.” And we had a very happy client to boot.
