GeekWire and UiPath recently partnered on a series of executive conversations exploring the future of artificial intelligence, from coding agents and business orchestration to what’s next for enterprise AI.
I joined the production as a one-person video crew, capturing two-camera interviews in Bellevue between GeekWire co-founder John Cook and UiPath leaders, including Chief Marketing Officer Michael Atalla and Chief Product & Technology Officer Raghu Malpani.

Executive Interviews About the Future of AI
The conversations explored how AI is changing the way organizations develop software, orchestrate work, and move from experimentation to production. Topics included coding agents, agentic AI, and the future of business orchestration. While each conversation had its own focus, they all pointed toward one destination: UiPath FUSION, the company’s flagship conference held at the Wynn Las Vegas.
FUSION brings together business and technology leaders who are looking to move beyond AI experimentation and into real-world results. As UiPath puts it, the event is for organizations ready to move “from AI pilot to production” and realize the promise of the agentic enterprise.
The interviews also encouraged companies and innovators to submit nominations for the AI Breakthrough Awards, presented by GeekWire and UiPath. The awards recognize organizations pushing the boundaries of AI and automation through innovative business orchestration and real-world impact.
One-Person Video Production for a Technology Brand
For this project, my role was focused entirely on video production. I managed the camera, lighting, audio, and overall interview setup, allowing the conversations to flow naturally while delivering clean, polished footage for the post-production team.
Projects like this demonstrate that successful video production doesn’t always require a large crew. With thoughtful planning, professional equipment, and experience producing executive interviews, a single videographer can efficiently deliver broadcast-quality results for technology companies, agencies, and media organizations.

Why Video Matters for Complex Technology
Artificial intelligence is evolving quickly, and so are the conversations surrounding it. Executive interviews allow technology leaders to explain complex ideas in a way that’s more personal, engaging, and accessible than a press release or blog post.
Whether the goal is promoting an event, highlighting industry trends, or encouraging award submissions, video helps audiences hear directly from the people shaping those conversations. Video allows organizations to explain complex ideas with clarity while letting audiences hear directly from the people behind them.
