Conferences are more than packed schedules and keynote stages. They’re one of the richest environments for conference video production and capturing authentic, high-impact content.

Our team excels at conference video production. We don’t just document what happens, we capture energy, expertise, community, and real voices—all in one place. From cinematic b-roll to authentic interviews, conferences offer a rare opportunity to tell your brand story through the people who know it best: your customers, partners, and leaders. And they’re all conveniently located in one place.

We have years of experience covering conferences locally in Seattle and across the country. Our team has traveled to Las Vegas, San Diego, Salt Lake City, and more.

Here’s why conferences are such a powerful video opportunity, plus how we’ve helped companies make the most of them.

Why Conference Video Production is a Goldmine

Conferences create a perfect storm for content creation:

  • Your audience is there – customers, clients, and subject matter experts in one place
  • Efficient production – dozens of interviews and visuals captured in a short time
  • Authentic reactions – conversations are fresh, energizing, and unscripted
  • Built-in credibility – people are surrounded by peers, ideas, and innovation

Whether you’re hosting the event or attending as a sponsor, partner, or exhibitor, conferences make it easy to capture video that feels genuine, insightful, and human.

American Association of Thoracic Surgery (AATS) Annual Meeting in Seattle

The AATS Annual Meeting is the gathering for leaders in thoracic surgery, with attendees traveling from around the world. Our three-person conference video production crew partnered with an outside production company to capture interviews and cinematic b-roll at the Seattle Convention Center. We shot case studies and presentations, new technologies at work, candid conversations with attendees, and moments of connection throughout the conference.

There was no better opportunity to capture the best and brightest in the field, along with future leaders shaping the industry. Again, and you’ll hear this on repeat, all in one place, making it convenient for video production.

Conference Video Production at ShopTalk in Las Vegas

We love working in the tech industry. At ShopTalk in Las Vegas, we partnered with GeekWire Studios to capture a series of videos for Amazon Ads.

Our conference video production role included shooting dynamic b-roll on the floor and capturing interviews with Amazon Ads customers, hosted by GeekWire’s Brian Westbrook. The result was engaging, high-energy tech content that highlights real experiences with Amazon Ads.

This project is a great example of how conferences can work for you even if you’re not the host. If you’re there, your story is there, and video is the best way to capture it in an engaging way.

L2L Customer Conferences in San Diego & Kansas City

Just like working in tech, we also love shooting in manufacturing. That’s why L2L brought us in to capture b-roll and interviews at its annual customer conference in San Diego, where we shot sessions, presentations, and off-site activities to reflect not just the conference content but also the community behind it.

Conference video production takes many shapes. For the L2L Customer Conference in Kansas City, the L2L team captured video themselves and partnered with us for editing. We shaped their b-roll and interviews into an event highlight video that was also used for future promotion.

This flexible approach shows that conference video coverage doesn’t have to look the same way. Whether we’re shooting on-site or crafting the story in post, conferences give brands an incredible foundation for long-lasting content.

Smartsheet Engage at the Seattle Convention Center

At Smartsheet Engage in Seattle (I told you we love tech!), our team was hired by an outside video production crew to capture b-roll and attendee interviews for Smartsheet testimonial videos.

This is where conferences truly shine (again!). They’re flooded with customers, power users, and experts who are already thinking deeply about the product, and are excited to talk about it. Instead of chasing testimonials across the country or even the world, conferences allow brands to capture a wide range of voices every single day.
