GeekWire Studios recently hired our video production and content creation company to shoot and edit a series of tech videos. The series surrounds a collaborative networking event between BMC and GeekWire Studios during the Apache Airflow Summit in Seattle.

The Control-M Networking Event took place at Rhein Haus on Capitol Hill. And it delivered the perfect mix of atmosphere and energy. Drinks, bocce ball, and a relaxed setting made space for real conversation, while the guest list brought together data leaders, technologists, and innovators shaping the future of analytics and automation.

Across four tech videos, we captured both sides of the event: the fun, social energy of the night and the technical expertise and insight shared by those in attendance, all while keeping the focus on BMC and Control-M.

Event Highlight Video — Control-M Networking Event

Hosted by Brian Westbrook of GeekWire Studios, our event highlight video captures the buzz of the room, the conversations happening over drinks and games, and the larger story behind the tech event.

Our approach was fast-moving and cinematic, blending b-roll with expert soundbites to showcase the value of community, connection, and modern data orchestration, all while reinforcing the role Control-M plays in today’s data ecosystem.

One-on-One Interview | Brian Westbrook & Ben Rogojan

The second video features a two-camera interview with Brian Westbrook and data consultant and influencer Ben Rogojan, also known as the Seattle Data Guy.

This setup allowed us to keep the conversation visually dynamic while staying focused on substance. In the interview, the Seattle Data Guy dives into:

  • The difference between simple automation and complex data orchestration
  • How AI is reshaping pipeline development
  • Why clarity and focus matter for startups navigating data complexity

This video leans into thought leadership, clean framing, strong audio, and intentional pacing to keep technical topics accessible and engaging. We also conducted a similar one-on-one tech interview with BMC Chief Technology Officer Ram Chakravarti.

Panel Discussion | The Future of Data & Analytics

The final video brings it all together with a panel discussion moderated by Brian Westbrook of GeekWire Studios and featuring the Seattle Data Guy, Ben Rogojan, alongside BMC CTO Ram Chakravarti.

The conversation explores:

  • Trends shaping the future of data and analytics
  • Synthetic data and pipeline management
  • Bridging business data gaps
  • Moving AI from hype to real-world value

This is tech thought leadership in action; candid, forward-looking, and grounded in real experience.
