Every video shoot I do is fun. Seriously, I’m not just saying that for the sake of my clients. Shoot days are the best part of my job. But one recent video shoot with Murder Hornet Hot Sauce takes the throne as the most fun video shoot I have ever done.
Murder Hornet Hot Sauce hired our Seattle video production and content creation company to produce a set of YouTube ads for the Burien-based company. We worked hard in preproduction, coming up with the perfect scripts, and then executed the video shoot together at Table 47 in Gig Harbor.

The main Murder Hornet Hot Sauce YouTube ad echoes Dollar Shave Club, Old Spice-type ads. You know, quirky, funny, and memorable. And when that’s the goal, the video project is sure to be fun as well. Kind of like this fun skit we put together with the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties.
The YouTube ad features Kevin Cummings, founder of Murder Hornet Hot Sauce. The ad also features Murder Hornet’s Ryan Berry (taco guy) and Table 47 executive chef Brandon Marie. The ad shows that Murder Hornet Hot Sauce brings not just heat, but bold flavor as well.
This is the type of content that fits the Murder Hornet Hot Sauce brand. It’s fun but still impactful, much like this social media video I created for them with my then 4-year-old son. As for the other YouTube ads, we also created hard-hitting 15-second and 6-second spots for Murder Hornet.
Our video production company thrives with corporate and non-profit storytelling (just take a look at our testimonials), but we can also step outside of the box to create videos like we did with Murder Hornet Hot Sauce. And believe it or not, we created these ads with only a two-person team, not a full video production crew. That reaffirms that we are nimble, creative, hard-working, and not to mention (but to mention), less expensive.
