The iPhone is a powerful tool for video content creation. This isn’t the first time you’ve heard us say this. While we love creating videos with professional production equipment, we can also make engaging videos with an iPhone to accommodate specific needs and budgets. And you can just as easily make videos for your business or non-profit organization on your iPhone as well.

iPhone Video Content Creation Sample

To show just how powerful an iPhone is for video content creation, we recently created this video for the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce using only an iPhone (and drone for aerials).

iPhone Video Equipment

To capture this video we used an iPhone 15, an Insta360 Flow gimbal, and a DJI Mini 2. We then edited the video on Adobe Premiere Pro and licensed a music track from Premium Beat (use code SUDGHSNG at to get 25% off your first purchase). These are tools we use to make iPhone videos look as professional as possible, but they are not necessary for your own video content creation.

Yes, you can just whip your camera out of your pocket and start shooting away. But there are iPhone settings and tips we use to make our iPhone videos as sharp as they can be.

While we captured this sample video in 16:9, we could have easily shot this in 9:16 for reels and TikTok. That’s the incredible flexibility of an iPhone for video content creation. And the Insta360 Flow also makes it easy to attach a microphone for sharp interview audio (we use the Rode Wireless Go II). You can truly create any style of video content that you want with the right tools.

Start Creating Video Content

If you’ve wanted to give iPhone video content creation a try, we hope this gives you the nudge you need. The only way you’ll learn the skill is to just start doing it. Will you make a few mistakes along the way? Sure, but that’s the only way we get better. Don’t be intimidated by your iPhone. Start creating!

We also know time is a very real restriction. If you don’t have time, or don’t want to create your own content, that’s what our Seattle video production and content creation company is here for. Contact us to find out how we can partner on your video content creation. You can call, text, or email—whatever is easiest. You can also connect with us on InstagramFacebookTwitter, and LinkedIn. And, to throw even more on the list, you can watch more of our video content on YouTube and Vimeo.
